Terrifying and Educational Karaoke Experiences Aplenty.
Ok!
This is a fun one!
I originally developed it for my Public Speaking students, but soon realised it would be even more helpful for fellow musicians and singers who wanted to get in some FUN (and zany) “Stage Presence Practice.”
(This does NOT mean that a person has BEASTLY stage presence, but rather that IF they want to “see about” what it feels like to “step into another pair of shoes” (or glittery combat boots?) and develop the whole “Swapping Personae” thing, it could rock. (Especially for the audience, hehe. And the players of the (alleged) “game.”)
Anyway! Works FINE, but for the following snags:
- “Challenge Mode” isn’t explained, so I’ll say it here: basically, only check that if you want to allow Physical Challenges into the “cards” you “draw” (UNLESS you’re ok with just being “ok, we in a station wagon, so I can’t do a somersault, so we’ll just skip that part.” (There are some people who would be devastated at the mere mention of having to modify something in a “ready-to-go” game; me, I always like versatility, but I’m a teacher. Well, was, anyway. I guess that part doesn’t leave so easily, hmm? :’))
- The “CHOOSE CATEGORIES” checkbox does not work (except visually)
- The colours are… well, I had naught to do with them. (Naught, I tell you… NAUGHT! Sigh.)
- Talking of colours, in “high contrast” or “invert colours” modes (they seem pretty the same, btw), the text is white on a white button, so my apologies for that.
Anyway! Hope you have fun with this, and feel free to share comments reflecting your experiences with such (or, mayhap, audio-visual evidence of the proceedings?? Muahah. xD
