A little over three months ago, I met the man who would become my husband…IRL. For the first time.
(Yep, we met online. Lol. Not on a dating site, but “during the course of a day.” More on that later, tho xD
We HAD, however, been speaking for over a year, so we weren’t TOTAL strangers. (Quite the opposite, in fact. For better and for worse, actually.)
A little over TWO months ago, we eloped!
We’ve stayed in very interesting places and have gotten in some very interesting situations.
Through it all, my “Zak” and I have grown closer to one another–and To God. (Praise To The Most-High in all things!)
~
If you’ve read this far, you may have imagined two of the “beautiful people,” strolling down a private beach after discovering a romantic B&B in a last-minute rain shower one evening, and heading back to our new penthouse apartment (and work-from-home C-level corporate jobs) in a Mercedes roadster after working on our tans for a week and, um, enjoying many a gourmet dinner. And stuff.
But what ACTUALLY happened was decidedly more…Biblical.
Lol.
Remember the time when God Said to Abraham (or was he Abram back then?) “Hey, you get to pack up and go somewhere” and Abe’s like “Um, ok. Where?” And God’s Like “Just follow Me, friend. It’s gonna ROCK! xD”
My Zak moved down here from up north two months ago. He left the life he’s always known. I know it took lots of faith. But we both believe God Wanted this to happen.
We got married, right? And I got disinherited for “rushing into it.”
Has it been “easy” ?
NO!
But have we felt God’s Hand on our new life?
YES!
More about this all later.
(Zak, I love you more than my own kidneys. And Jesus, I love You more than I love my kidneys AND Zak.)
❤
“Zara”
PS-This blog is about just SOME of the adventures that God Has us on, lol. Hope you enjoy it as much as we have xD
PS again: Zak is BEYOND beautiful, btw. (But more on *that* later, too. xD
One more time (PS The Third!!): some of the forthcoming entries were written on the road and or I may have rounded up or down a day or two in one case or another; this bothers my beloved more than it does me (in this case and situation) coz saying 26 days is “just under a month” is ok with me, and LA to DC is basically “across the nation” in my head. I don’t mean any dishonesty in numbers or locations, though I also want us to feel freedom in our journal entries and not have to worry abt making this a matter of being a matter of record or whatever. Ok, time for a snack. Mwa! Love you all.
